Since its debut in 2007, the Toyota Yaris has been winning hearts and minds, a tradition the new 2010 model looks to continue. Right on the heels of the release of the new generation Prius, the Yaris is a sub-compact not to be overlooked if you’re searching for a vehicle that combines safety, reliability and dependability with one of the lowest price tags in the market.
There are many subtle changes in the 2010 Yaris, and new features have been added with purpose. Standard electronic stability control and traction control combine with standard front side airbags and curtain side airbags to earn a maximum five star occupant protection rating in front and side collisions. A feat few other sub-compact cars have achieved. To find a vehicle with better gas mileage you’d have to look into the hybrid and diesel categories with an estimated 36 miles per gallon*, the 2010 Yaris will allow you to pass the pump more often.
For many, the most important features to look for when buying a new vehicle are those that will keep you and your family safe. The 2010 Toyota Yaris delivers, and then some! Scheduled to hit showroom floors in late August, visit Toyota of Tampa Bay to test drive the 2009 Toyota Yaris or receive more information on the upcoming 2010 model.
*EPA estimated highway miles per gallon.

As we are becoming more aware of the long-term effects chemicals are having on us, it’s important to consider alternative ways to keep ourselves healthy. One area to explore is the newest trend in swimming, natural pools! See below for the benefits of natural pools!
Natural pools contain salt water that makes its own chlorine. This chlorine is considerably less harsh than traditional chlorine pools, and you don’t have to handle it either. This also means no more dry skin, green hair or fading swimsuits!
Salt water pools are generally easier to maintain. The pool’s water runs through a control box system that automatically electrifies the water as needed, producing chlorine. This means that no algae is produced and you’ll spend less time dealing with the problem of an off-balance PH level.
Finally, beside the health benefits, natural salt water pools will eventually save you money! Chlorine is very expensive and over time you’ll see the results add up.
